Spotify Music Service No Longer Invite Only; First Six Months Free

Following the Facebook F8 conference announcement, Spotify is ditching the invite only model and offering 6 months free service.
The removal of the invite system (you can now sign up directly with a Facebook account) and the extended premium trial are part of Spotify’s push to extend their market hold by providing a more open sharing model. After six months users will shift from the premium trial to a standard free account.
