		<description>Ubuntu is supposed to be very good but for a complete novice I would suggest Suse:
it probably has better hardware support than any other distro and it&#039;s config tool Yast2 is very user friendly.

		<description>I would recommend Ubuntu Linux.  That was the first Linux distribution I installed and tried, and it&#039;s the one I go to when I need a Linux box.  With its rapid update and release cycles, I believe it would work the best for you.</description>
